so this is a commission for the lovely Schwartze of her character, amalrik. she wanted something with a lot of space and scale to show his adventurous side, and at first that was a little scary to me because i'm used to making the character at least 60% of the composition, but overall, i'm pretty happy with how this turned out! it's a different lighting than i'm used to, as well - something a lot softer and less harsh with no obvious source of light. i guess i ended up trying a lot of new things with his piece. i hope you like it, Schwartze!}
